Maritime Conference Presentation

Connecting Community, Place and Content:
Designing the Cohesive Museum Campus Visitor Experience

Thanks to our collaborators at Opsis Architecture and the Columbia River Maritime Museum, we had the opportunity to co-present at the annual conference for the Council of American Maritime Museums in Mystic, Connecticut last month. We shared our approach to wayfinding and how maps, signs and place-naming can help build a cohesive visitor experience as the Museum transforms into a multi-building campus. Afterwards, we squeezed in visits to the fantastic Mystic Seaport Museum and a few design icons to fuel our creativity 📷👇.
